This policy explains what personal data I collect through joannakedzia.com, why I collect it and what rights you have. I keep it simple: I collect only what I need to reply to you and run this website.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Joanna Kędzia. You can contact me about your data at [email protected].
2. What data I collect and why
Contact form. When you send a message, I receive your name (optional), email address and the content of your message. I use this data only to reply to you and to discuss a possible collaboration. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Email correspondence. If you email me directly, I process your email address and anything you choose to share, on the same basis.
Booking a call. If you book an intro call through Calendly, I receive your name, email address, the time you chose and any answers you give in the booking form. I use this data only to prepare for and hold our conversation, which takes place via Google Meet. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Technical data. Like any website, my hosting server automatically records basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) in server logs. This is needed to keep the site secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
I do not use your data for marketing, I do not sell it and I do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It may set a small technical cookie that remembers your language version of the site. This cookie is necessary for the site to work and does not track you.
The site uses fonts provided by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google servers, which receive your IP address. More information: Google Privacy Policy.
4. Who else has access to your data
Your data may be processed by service providers who help me run this website and my email, only to the extent necessary: my hosting provider SEOHOST (seohost.pl), Cloudflare (which protects the website and forwards emails sent to my domain), Google (Gmail and Google Meet), which I use for email and video calls, and Calendly, which I use for booking calls. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. How long I keep your data
I keep messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting collaboration, and then for no longer than 12 months after our last contact, unless the law requires me to keep them longer (for example, for accounting purposes if we work together).
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, simply write to me at [email protected].
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl).
7. Changes to this policy
I may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
